Marvel Rivals 6v6 Tournament Rules
Event Live at Geek Festival – 25 April 2025
General Information:
- Date of Event: 25th April 2025
- Event Check-In: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Captains only)
- First Match Start: 12:00 PM
- Location: Geek Festival
- Tournament Format: Best out of 10 matches (most wins in 10 matches), each match consists of 5 rounds.
- Character Selection: All matches will be played with teams of 6 players, each team choosing their characters prior to the match.
- Bring Your Own Gear: Participants must bring their own controllers, headsets, and any other necessary equipment.
Team Registration:
- Captains Only: Only team captains need to register for the tournament and check in on the day of the event.
- Player Information: Captains are required to register the real names and aliases of all team members at the event check-in.
- Team Name: Teams should register using their high school and team name as a reference (example: “Avengers Academy”).
- Underage Players: If any player is underage, a parent or guardian must check in on their behalf and will also receive any prizes for the players.
Tournament Structure:
- Team Composition: 6v6 matches.
- Match Setup: Matches will be played in a best of 10 format (first to win 6 matches). Each match will consist of 5 rounds.
- Round Rules: The first team to score 12 goals in a round wins that round.
- Substitutions: Substitutions are allowed between rounds, but no substitutions are allowed during a round.
- Match Location: All matches will be played live at the event in a private online lobby, hosted by the event organizers. The teams will be drafted into lobbies by the organizers.
Conduct and Fair Play:
- Respect: Players must respect the tournament organizers, referees, and fellow competitors. Any unsportsmanlike conduct or cheating will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.
- Disputes: If there is any dispute during the event, it must be handled by the tournament organizers immediately.
Prize Distribution:
- Prize Claim: Prizes will be distributed at the end of the event. Underage players will have their prizes handed to their parent or guardian.
Additional Notes:
- Equipment Responsibility: Players are responsible for ensuring their gear is working. Tournament organizers will not be able to provide extra equipment if something malfunctions.
- Schedule Changes: Please be aware that the event schedule is subject to change. Announcements will be made on-site if any adjustments are needed.
